BUSINESS.
Trade Table
“We can't find it anywhere.” “It costs too much in Japan.” Trade Table is a joint development service that plans and develops exactly those materials and products with you, from a blank sheet. Drawing on our global factory database, WI then takes on production and supply as a fabless manufacturer.
Do any of these problems sound familiar?
-
The product you need doesn't exist
No product that meets your requirements can be found anywhere, at home or abroad.
-
Too few domestic suppliers
With only a handful of suppliers, prices stay high and cost reduction is impossible.
-
Unreliable supply
Swings in demand and supplier-side circumstances mean you cannot get what you need when you need it.
Service Overview
We begin by exploring your challenges and required specifications in depth, then identify the ideal manufacturing partner from our overseas factory database. Developing the product together with you, we arrive at the right price for exactly the specification you need — and nothing more. Once development is complete, WI handles manufacturing, inventory and supply as a fabless manufacturer, so buying from us feels no different from buying domestically.
How Supply Works
Our work doesn't end at development. As a fabless manufacturer, WI handles production, import and inventory, supplying you reliably over the long term.
Zero overseas-trade overhead — source an original product at overseas prices,
exactly as you would buy from a domestic manufacturer
Three Strengths of Trade Table
A global factory database
We build a target list of 300 companies matched to your product category.
From concept to supply, all in one place
Planning, development, production, quality control, import, inventory and delivery — WI is your single point of contact for all of it.
Pursuing exactly the specification you need
By stripping out over-specification, we meet your quality requirements while achieving substantial cost savings.
Development Examples
Anti-static gloves (polyethylene)
- Challenge
- A plant working with flammable inks needed gloves that would not build up static and could withstand solvents, but nothing suitable could be found in Japan.
- Solution
- No off-the-shelf product existed overseas either, so we investigated film materials jointly with the client, developed the product and built the supply chain, including a partnership with a glove-processing plant.
Splicing, sealing and other specialty tapes
- Challenge
- With few domestic manufacturers to choose from, prices remained high and cost reduction was not possible.
- Solution
- We researched overseas plants and co-developed the product, achieving significant savings by specifying only what was strictly required.
Double-sided adhesive panels
- Challenge
- Backing material for inspection had to be cut to size each time, consuming a great deal of labor.
- Solution
- We built a supply chain able to cut the material from master rolls to the client's specified size, and now hold stock to guarantee reliable supply.
Hair caps
- Challenge
- A surge in demand during the COVID-19 pandemic halted domestic supply, and no new source could be found.
- Solution
- We identified overseas manufacturers able to produce the item, and now hold buffer stock to ensure reliable supply.
Other development projects include packaging materials (air-cushion bags), FRP cores, protective covers for roll materials and pre-filters, among many others.

Start with a simple question:
“Could you make something like this?”
You don't need a drawing. We start simply by hearing what the problem is.
